We may collect the following information to provide and improve our services:

• Email address (via Clerk authentication), if you choose to create an account. No tool on this site requires one.
• Account information
• Basic usage analytics: which tools are opened and which actions are completed, so we know what to build next
• IP address (via analytics, advertising or authentication providers)
• Anonymous tool ratings: your star rating, an optional note, a two-letter country code worked out from your connection or your device's time zone, and a random ID stored in your browser. No name, email, account, or precise location is attached.

Image tools on Piknova process your files entirely inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

This is a technical fact rather than a policy promise: the editing, splitting, merging, compressing, converting, resizing and background removal all happen on a canvas in the tab you have open. Your file never leaves your device, so there is no copy of it for us to keep, lose, sell or be compelled to hand over.

The one exception is not an image you own: the YouTube thumbnail, avatar and banner downloaders take a video or channel link and fetch that already-public image from YouTube on our server. No file of yours is involved.

Piknova is free to use and is supported in part by advertising. We use Google AdSense to serve ads on this site.

• Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
• Third-party vendors and ad networks may also use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits.

Ads pay for the tools, which is why every tool is free, has no watermark and has no export limit. Advertising never affects what the tools will do for you.

Marketing emails may be sent to you only if you have explicitly provided consent.

You may opt-out and unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link provided at the bottom of our emails.

We retain account data while your account remains active with us.

You may request account deletion at any time by emailing us at: support@piknova.com

Upon receiving a deletion request, we will remove your account data within a reasonable timeframe.

We implement reasonable and industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, please note that no internet transmission is 100% secure. You use the Service at your own risk.

Regarding your personal data, you have the right to:

• Delete your data
• Receive a copy in a portable format
• Object to processing
• Ask us to restrict processing
• Withdraw consent at any time

To make a request, email support@piknova.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. There is no charge, and you do not have to give a reason for a deletion request.

If you are in the UK, the EEA or another region with a data protection authority, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We would rather you told us first so we can fix it, but that right does not depend on our permission.

Piknova is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children. It is not intended for use by anyone under 13, and where local law sets a higher age for consent to data processing (16 in parts of the EEA and the UK), that age applies instead.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, email support@piknova.com and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements.

Continued use of the Service after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
