Terms of Service

Welcome to Piknova (createTrendyImages tools). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and image editing tools (the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Operator Information

Piknova (createTrendyImages tools) is operated by an individual based in India.

2. Description of Service

Piknova provides browser-based image tools. The Service currently includes:

  • Image Splitter
  • Image Merger
  • YouTube Thumbnail Downloader
  • YouTube PFP Downloader
  • YouTube Banner Downloader
  • Image Converter
  • Image Compressor
  • Image Resizer
  • Screenshot Editor
  • Background Remover
  • Redacted Text Generator

Image tools run inside your browser. Your files are never uploaded to us.

The only exception is the YouTube downloaders, which take a public video or channel link and fetch that already-public image on our server. They never receive a file from you.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice or liability.

3. Eligibility

The Service is a general-audience utility and is not intended for or directed at children under the age of 13.

By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 13 years old, or older where your local law requires it. In parts of the EEA and in the UK, the minimum age for consent to data processing is 16, and that higher age applies to you instead.

4. User Content & Responsibility

You retain ownership of any images you upload.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You have the legal right to upload and process the content.
  • Your content does not infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other rights.
  • Your content does not violate any laws.

We do not monitor or review uploaded images.

You are solely responsible for:

  • Copyright compliance
  • Use of generated or edited images
  • Ensuring you have consent for any identifiable person in uploaded images
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. AI Features Disclaimer

One feature uses a machine-learning model: automatic background removal. The model is downloaded to your browser and runs there, on your device. Your image is not sent to us or to any AI provider, and nothing you process is used to train anything.

Automated output:
  • May be inaccurate, particularly on hair, fur, glass and motion blur
  • May leave artefacts along edges
  • Is not a substitute for checking the result yourself

You are solely responsible for reviewing the output before you use it.

We do not guarantee:

6. Payments & Pricing

Piknova is free. There is nothing to buy.Every tool is free to use, with no account required, no watermark, no export limit and no card. We do not currently operate a paid plan, a subscription or a one-off purchase of any kind, and we do not process payments.

The Service is supported by advertising, which is what pays for keeping the tools free. You can also support it voluntarily through the link on our pricing page. A voluntary contribution buys nothing: it unlocks no feature, removes no limit and creates no account tier, because there are none.

If we introduce paid features

We may offer optional paid features in future. If and when we do, all of the following apply before anyone is charged anything:

  • The price, the billing period and exactly what is included will be shown on our pricing page before you buy.
  • A separate refund and cancellation policy will be published and linked from these Terms, and from checkout.
  • Payment will be handled by a regulated third-party payment provider. We will name that provider here, and their terms will apply to the transaction alongside these Terms.
  • Any recurring charge will state that it recurs, and will be cancellable by you at any time before the next renewal.
  • Statutory rights, including any right of withdrawal or cancellation you have under the consumer law of your country, are not affected by anything in these Terms.

Nothing that is free today becomes paid retroactively. A paid tier would sit alongside the free tools, not in front of them.

7. Service Availability

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE".

We do not guarantee continuous uptime, error-free performance, or uninterrupted access.

We are not responsible for outages caused by:

  • Hosting providers
  • AI providers
  • Payment providers
  • Internet failures
  • Events beyond our control

8. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Use the Service unlawfully
  • Engage in abusive behavior
  • Attempt to misuse AI features

No tool on this site requires an account, so terminating one removes the account and nothing else.

9. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

  • Create unlawful or defamatory content
  • Impersonate individuals
  • Alter images of real people, documents or communications so as to deceive
  • Create harmful or misleading content
  • Violate intellectual property rights

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from your use of the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Our total liability arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) INR 5,000. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury or fraud.

We are not liable for: Indirect damages, Lost profits, Data loss, Business interruption, or Consequential damages.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Piknova and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and legal fees arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your uploaded content
  • Your violation of these Terms

12. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including:

13. Advertising

The Service is free to use and is supported by advertising. By using the Service, you acknowledge that ads may be displayed alongside the tools.

Ads are served by Google AdSense and its partners. We do not control which specific ads are shown, and an ad appearing on this site is not an endorsement by us of the advertiser, their product or their claims. Your dealings with an advertiser are between you and them.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in India.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
